A 26-year-old Newark man was arrested after he was found in possession of items stolen from an area vehicle.
According to police, patrol units observed a suspicious male with a backpack wandering around the area of Compton Terrace.
Upon investigation, the suspect -later identified as Justin Stafford, 26, of Newark - was found to be in possession of items reportedly stolen out of a motor vehicle in the area.
Stafford was ultimately taken into custody and charged with burglary to a motor vehicle and theft from a motor vehicle.
