A 44-year-old Newark man has been accused of stealing at least $313,837 worth of cargo from the Kearny business.
Rodolfo Rodriguez, 44, appeared in court on yesterday were he was charged with six counts of theft and conspiring with others to commit theft from R+L Carriers trucking facility between June 14 and Oct. 31.
According to officials, Rodriguez stole goods including office telephones, video phones, bicycles components, security cameras and robot vacuums belonging to various companies.
He is accused of stealing cargo with two others and ultimately selling it to a pawn shop in Newark.
Rodriguez had been released on a summons after his arrest.
