Police in Newark seeks the public's help in identifying a male wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on Wednesday, May 23rd.
According to a statement released by police, at approximately 2:15 a.m., police responded to the 100-block of Ferry Street on a robbery call.
Police say upon their arrival, the victim reported being approached by a light complexion black or Hispanic male suspect who robbed him of his cell phone then ran from the scene.
While detectives are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s help in quickly locating and removing him from Newark streets.
