Police are reporting no physical injuries in an early morning carjacking incident that occurred in Newark's Ironbound section on Thursday.
According to a preliminary investigation, police were notified of a carjacking in progress in the 70's block of Adams Street around 2:30 a.m.
Units arrived and were told that a suspect took the victim's 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee at that location.
The vehicle has a reported license plate number "7491AZ4".
The suspect sped from the scene and is at large.
