Newark Police are investigating a car crash that sent one person to the hospital overnight.
The two-vehicle crash happened in the 300 block of Ferry Street near Main just before 1:05 a.m. sending police and University Hospital rescue crews to the scene where they found the damaged vehicles with one occupant trapped inside.
Crews were able to remove the victim from the vehicle then hand them over to EMS who transported to University Hospital for treatment.
There were no other serious injuries reported.
