Firefighters in Newark extinguished a car fire that extended to another vehicle at a location in Newark's Ironbound section Saturday morning.
According to fire officials, crews found the vehicles burning in the area of Ann Street and New York Avenue at approximately 12:54 a.m.
Firefighters were able to swiftly knock down the blaze that caused severe damage to both cars.
The Newark Arson Squad were called in to investigate the incident.
There were no injuries reported.
