Firefighters in Newark battled a fast-moving fire that tore through a warehouse in Newark's South Ward Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials, there were no injuries reported after fire broke out inside the single-story building located at 722 Frelinghuysen Avenue just before 2:30 p.m.

Firefighters arrived at found thick smoke and flames coming from the Ferranti steel and aluminum business.
Crews were able to get the blaze under control in less than a half-hour with no injuries reported.
Fire officials believe that roofing material somehow ignited and cause the fire. The official cause of the fire remains under investigation.
