Newark Fatal Shooting Victim Identified as Bloomfield Man

Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray announced today that the man fatally shot in Newark on April 15 has been identified as Quenzelle Mickle, 33, of Bloomfield.

Authorities said, Mickle was fatally shot in the vicinity of 34 Fourth Street, Newark shortly before 1 a.m. He was pronounced dead at 12:51.

The cause of death is multiple gun shot wounds. The case is under investigation. At this time no arrests have been made and no motive determined. The investigation is active and ongoing.
