Residents in Newark are waking up to a cool 65 degrees this Friday morning, with some cloud cover overhead.
While the humidity is expected to rise throughout the day, rain is not in the forecast, making for a comfortable day ahead.
As kids head to the school bus stops in North Jerey, the morning doesn’t feel too bad, and the cloud cover is expected to give way to some peeks of sunshine later on.
According to the National Weather Service, the radar remains clear for the day, meaning residents can enjoy lunch outdoors without the threat of rain.
The forecast calls for patchy fog before 8 a.m., followed by mostly cloudy skies and a high near 78 degrees, with a light east wind around 6 mph. Tonight, expect continued cloudiness with a low of around 65 degrees.
However, rain is on the horizon for Saturday, with heavy showers expected in parts of North Jersey.
