Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to another beautiful morning, marking the 10th consecutive day without rain.
As of 4:30 a.m., the temperature is a pleasant 67 degrees, but changes are on the horizon as rain is expected to move in soon.
While today will remain dry and mostly cloudy, the National Weather Service reports that the area's rain drought will likely end tomorrow afternoon, with showers headed our way.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy this final day of great weather before precipitation arrives.
Today's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a high near 79 degrees and a north wind shifting east at 6 to 8 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight, expect mostly cloudy skies with a low of around 64 degrees.
