Newark Emergency responders which consists of (Newark ESU, NPD, University Hospital EMS. Ironbound EMS, NFD, and University Hospital ER Staff) spent the overnight assisting and responding to overnight crashes in the city. Here are a few that we've gathered.
At around 12:15 a.m., Emergency responders assisted in a crash that had a driver lose control of a vehicle and slam into several parked cars in the 800 block of Highland Avenue. There were non-life threatening injuries reported (see image).
At around 2:30 a.m., a vehicle that overturned and crashed into several vehicles had emergency responders assist at least one person from a vehicle in the 400 block of Central Avenue. The victim suffered non-life threatenieng injuries. (see images)
At around 3:30 a.m., a man that reportedly fell asleep while driving in the area of Elizabeth Avenue and Clinton Avenue crashed into several light poles then crashed into a tree. There were minor injuries reported.
At around 4 a.m. in the area of Washington Street and William Street, a two-car crash had emergency responders on the scene for one person who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
At around 4:02 a.m. emergency responders were in the the area of Mount Prospect Avenue and 2nd Avenue for a 2-car crash with minor injuries reported.
