Newark Authorities Seek Help Identifying Robbery Suspects, Locating Vehicle

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying three suspects and locating the vehicle that they drove away in after assaulting a victim during a robbery on May 31.AdNewark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said the robbery occurred at approximately 3:41 a.m. in the 400 block of N. 5th Street when the suspects – two men and a woman - struck the victim with a metal pipe in his head and face, and on his back and arm.

After the attack, the suspects took the victim’s iPhone, $700, and fled in the vehicle, a silver 2006 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck bearing New Jersey license plate P97RBZ, officials said.  Pic

Officials say the four-door vehicle was seen in Clifton but frequent Clifton Avenue in Newark and Washington Avenue in Belleville.

It also has been listed as a felony vehicle (VIN # - 2HJYK165X6H504528), authorities say.
