Passaic County officials reported that the PCPO will host a community outreach event introducing a new community forum combating Bias, Hate, and Violence on Wednesday, October 26.
Officials say it starts from 5-8 p.m. at Passaic County Community College, Main Campus Auditorium in Paterson.
The event is free and open to the public.
This in-person presentation will bring together law enforcement partners, along with faith-based and community leaders.
All to discuss what constitutes a bias incident, how individuals can report bias, and law enforcement steps taken upon notification.
Members of the New Jersey Attorney General’s Division of Criminal Justice and Division of Civil Rights will be present, in addition to the PCPO Legal and Investigative Bias Team, to explain their respective roles and answer questions.
