A New Jersey man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds behind the Hamilton Mall of Atlantic County on Wednesday.
Authorities have not confirmed the identity of the victim, but he was discovered in the Ivy Bush Court at the Woodlands Condiminiums in Mays Landing.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:51 p.m. after the Hamilton Rescue Squad, AtlantiCare paramedics, and Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit arrived at the scene.
This is the second deadly shooting to occur within a few miles of the Hamilton Mall in one week.
Demond Cottman, 20, of Atlantic City was killed in a shooting outside of the Macy's of the Hamilton Mall on Black Friday around 1:05 a.m.
Authorities suggest the shoootings have been part of a turf war in within the Atlantic County.
The investigation is pending.
