A 35-year-old woman, while on a driving lesson Thursday night, crashed into a building striking a gas line, police said.
Police responded to Green Hollow Drive sometime around 10 p.m. Thursday after the crash caused the evacuation of six apartments.
Police added that although the gas leak caused evacuations, the damage caused by the crash was minimal.
As of Friday, township officials have not yet provided clearance for residents to return.
The driver had just received her permit, according to police.
