Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll and Chief of Detectives Christoph Kimker announce the hiring of Dakota Keyworth as Detective for the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
Detective Keyworth was officially sworn in at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office on January 10.
He has been assigned to the General Investigations Unit within the Courts and Administration Division.
Prior to joining the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office, Detective Keyworth served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army in Afghanistan, in the New Jersey National Guard, and as a Detective with the Town of Dover Police Department.
Detective Keyworth has earned numerous commendations, medals, ribbons and patches.
Detective Keyworth graduated from the Morris County Police Academy, the U.S. Army Military Police School 31B10-OSUT, and the Morris County School of Technology.
In addition to completing several professional training courses, he is a Simunition Scenario and Safety Instructor, NJPTC Firearms Instructor, Patrol Service Rifle Instructor, Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D.) Instructor, and is Medical First Responder Certified.
