An overnight incident that left a person stabbed in New Brunswick is under investigation.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 200 block of George Street shortly before 1:50 a.m. to investigate a report of an injured person at that location.
Officers arriving at the scene found the severely injured victim stabbed multiple times reports said.
EMS rushed the victim to Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick for treatment .
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation. There were no reports of arrests made.
