Authorities in New Brunswick are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital overnight.
Reports of shots fired sent police to Somerset Street at approximately 10:10 p.m. where officers arrived at the scene found nearly a dozen shell casings and one person suffering gunshot wounds at that location.
EMS rushed the victim to an area hospital where the extent of the victim's injuries have not been released.
The Franklin Police Department assisted New Brunswick on the crime scene.
There were no arrests reported.
