Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured a male in New Brunswick overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 291 Seaman Street at around 11 p.m.
Units arrived and fou d an unidentified male suffering a bullet wound at that location.
The victim was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition according to reports.
The motive for the shooting has not been determined at this time.
