New Brunswick Pastor Charged with Criminal Sexual Contact

Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Director Anthony Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department said today that a city pastor has been arrested and charged with having improper sexual contact with a 17-year-old female.

 

Police arrested Pastor Manuel Mora, 52, of the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick on December 1st and charged him with endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree and criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree.

 

The charges were filed during an investigation conducted by Detective William Coleman of the New Brunswick Police Department and Detective Mark Morris of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

During the investigation it was determined that Pastor Mora of the All Nations Church in New Brunswick had ongoing sexual contact with a 17-year old female from New Brunswick. A judge ordered Mora to be held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center in North Brunswick.

 

The investigation is active and is continuing.

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Mora are merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
