Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in a section of Newark's South Ward on Sunday night.
It happened just before 9:30 p.m. in the vicinity of 96 Rose Terrace, where the resident dialed 911 after hearing repeated gun blasts in the neighborhood.
Police say a ShotSpotter activation confirmed residents' complaints with the device picking up nearly a dozen rounds.
According to authorities, officers arrived and found about 20 rifle shell casings, but there were no victims reported after they searched the neighborhood.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
