Nassan’s Place Celebrates 12 Years of Supporting Families Affected by Autism at Annual Awards Gala in NJ

Fresh off the red carpet of the HollyRod DesignCare 2024 event, where she was an honoree, Nadine Wright-Arbubakrr is proud to announce Nassan’s Place Annual Community Awards Gala on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Galloping Hill Golf Club in Kenilworth, officials stated. 

Officials say the event begins at 6:00 p.m. and will feature a cocktail hour, dinner, and a night dedicated to raising awareness about autism while honoring outstanding individuals and community partners helping us to make a difference in the community.

AdTickets are available for $150 each, officials said. 

As Nassan’s Place marks 12 years of enriching the lives of children and families affected by autism in and around under-served inner-city communities, the gala will celebrate the efforts of amazing individuals, community leaders, and organizations who have contributed significantly to this cause, according to officials. 

Authorities say this year’s honorees include:

Chief Ernesto Morillo and Sgt. Nicholas Lonero of the South Orange Police Department for their continued commitment to safety and advocacy.

Diana Saltarelli and Heidi Weinberg of Ray of Hope for their unwavering support to families affected by autism.

Shahidah Dunbar, educator at Marion P. Thomas STEAM Academy, for her dedication to empowering young minds.

Rashidah Cartwright, host of the ABM Podcast, for raising awareness and inspiring action through her platform.

Latonya Harrison, our Volunteer of the Year honoree

Hafiza Marshall, an autism mom, for her strength and support on behalf of her son and others in the autism community.

“Join us for an evening of celebration, advocacy, and community as we work together to make a difference in the lives of children and families living with autism,” shared Wright-Arbubakrr.

The Annual Community Awards Gala is a vital fundraiser that helps Nassan’s Place continue its mission of providing programs and support services to the families living with an autism diagnosis in and around under-served inner-city communities, officials said. AdOfficials stated proceeds from the event will go toward expanding these programs and support services to reach even more families in need.
