Long Branch Authorities are investigating a stabbing that sent one person to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police responded to reports of an assault in progress at an address on Lippincott Ave. shortly before 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival to the scene, cops found the victim seriously injured suffering multiple stab wounds to the chest at that location.
The victim was transported to Monmouth Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
There were no arrest immediately reported.
