Police in Newark's East Ward are on the search for two suspects who are responsible for multiple armed robberies that occurred in the city's Ironbound section during the overnight hours.
Authorities initiated a robbery protocol as they began a search for two black male suspects who were armed with guns and demanded person possessions from victims in the areas of 100 Van Buren Street and New Jersey Rail Road Avenue before 2:30 a.m.
Police say the suspects committed at least three robberies and were last observed wearing red and orange pants between both assailants according to preliminary reports.
There were no physical injuries reported.
