Multi-Vehicle Crash in Paterson Injures Two

A four-car crash in Paterson this afternoon left two injured.

An unidentified man driving down East 24th Street struck two parked cars and a third vehicle driven by a female between Fourth and Fifth Avenues shortly before 1 p.m.

The driver that allegedly caused the multi-vehicle crash managed to pull himself out of the vehicle before it caught fire. Fire units responded to extinguish the blaze.

The driver was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center for a serious compound leg fracture.

The female driver was extricated from her vehicle and transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
