Local and state police are currently conducting an investigation into a multi-vehicle crash that occurred late Friday night in Orange.
The incident, which initially unfolded around 10:20 p.m., occurred at the intersection of South Jefferson Street and I-280.
Upon receiving the call, emergency responders swiftly arrived at the scene. They discovered a chaotic collision involving as many as four vehicles.
Tragically, several individuals, including a toddler approximately two years old, sustained injuries in the accident.
Preliminary reports indicated that around five victims, some with severe injuries were promptly transported to area hospitals for medical treatment.
Medical professionals attended to their injuries, and their conditions are being closely monitored.
As authorities continue their investigation, they are working to determine the cause of the crash.
