An early morning multi-vehicle crash on Route 80, left three injured and one dead in Rockaway Twp.
Police responded to Route 80 near Exit 34B for Route 15 for a report of a multi-vehicle crash at about 1:37 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found a Cadillac Escalade a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and a third vehicle, which was not identified, became fully engulfed by flames after the crash. The unidentified occupant in that vehicle was killed.
Three others also suffered injuries, including the driver of the Escalade and two occupants of the Jeep Grand Cherokee. All three were transported to Morristown Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
