There were several people injured in a crash that happened on the Garden State Parkway in Bloomfield overnight.
Emergency responders rushed to the southbound lanes of parkway just before the Essex Toll Plaza at mile marker 151.6 at around 11 p.m. where crews arrived to find several vehicle involved in the crash according to authorities.
The 4-car crash sent about three people to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries and stalled traffic on the highway for about an hour.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
