A muli-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital over the weekend is under investigation in Elizabeth.
According to officials, at approximately 12:25 a.m., police responded to Livingston and Fourth streets after receiving reports of a crash with injuries reported.
Upon their arrival, officers found as many as five vehicles damaged at that location. Police say three of the vehicles were parked during the incident.
According to police, EMS transported the driver of a Hyundai, who they only identified as a 28-year-old Elizabeth resident, to University Hospital suffering a leg injury.
Police say a second driver, identified as a 36-year-old Elizabeth resident, was taken to Trinitas suffering non-fatal injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
There were no charges filed, officials added.
