Police in Clifton closed the northbound lanes of NJ-21 to investigate a crash that caused non-fatal injuries overnight.
The crash happened just north of the Route 3 exit where police arrived to find several vehicles involved in a collision at approximately 11 p.m.
Authorities say one of the cars overturned on the roadway but there were no severe injuries reported.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Police closed off the left lane and allowed traffic to flow in the other lanes at around 11:40 a.m. while they continued to clear the roadway of debris according to officials.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
