Firefighters Wednesday evening are battling frigid temperatures as flames swiftly spread through an Elmwood Park warehouse.
Officials say crews responded to the Marcal Paper Plant on River Road sometime around 5:30 p.m., where they encountered brutal winds, freezing water and a fast-moving fire that spread to nearby buildings in the plant.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
According to preliminary reports, no immediate injuries have been reported.
