A serious crash in Clark has left a motorcyclist severely injured, prompting Union County authorities to launch an investigation into the Tuesday night collision.
The incident occurred just before 8 p.m., causing Madison Hill Road from Harrison Street to Adams Street to be immediately closed.
Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered a crashed motorcycle, and the rider was ejected from the bike.
The victim, found unconscious and unresponsive, received CPR from emergency responders before being rushed to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in the incident. However, the section of Madison Hill Road was closed to facilitate an active investigation into the cause of the collision.
Authorities are currently examining all factors involved in this serious incident, and the investigation remains ongoing.
