Police reported serious injuries for a motorcyclist injured from a crash in Newark's Central Ward on Monday evening.
The crash happened just before 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of William Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Police said emergency responders and rescue crews rushed to the scene and found the operator of a 2009 Yamaha collided with a silver 2018 Honda.
The impact of the crash ejected the motorcyclist from the bike resulting in serious injuries.
Police say EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital for treatment while police temporarily closed off Martin Luther King Boulevard from Cout Street to Springfield Avenue for the investigation.
The cause of the crash has not been determined at this time.
