A motorcyclist has been left in serious condition following a severe accident in Linden.
The crash occurred shortly before midnight in the 800 block of Linden Avenue.
Emergency responders, upon arrival, discovered a crashed motorcycle and the rider ejected from the bike. The severely injured motorcyclist was immediately transported to University Hospital in Newark for urgent care.
The Union County fatal crash team was deployed to the scene to investigate the circumstances leading to the wreck.
Authorities are still gathering information and have not confirmed if any other vehicles were involved.
The badly damaged motorcycle was towed from the scene and is now part of the ongoing investigation.
