EMS rushed a man to University Hospital in Newark after a motorcycle crash on I-78 left him seriously injured.
The accident happened at around 6:40 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the highway where emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a heavily damaged motorcycle collided with a car.
A preliminary investigation appeared that the motorcycle crashed into the rear of a white Mustang, ejecting the motorcyclist off of the bike.
The crash caused some delays on the highway as police closed one express lane and one local lane for the investigation.
