A motorcycle accident on Monday night in Edison resulted in a motorcyclist sustaining severe injuries after colliding with a vehicle.
The collision occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of NJ-27 and Talmadge Road.
Emergency services, including the police and EMS, swiftly responded to the scene following reports of the crash. They found a motorcycle and a vehicle that had been involved in the collision.
The motorcyclist, who was unconscious and seriously injured, was ejected from the bike during the collision.
First responders immediately administered CPR at the scene before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital.
The precise cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
There were no reports of injuries to the occupants of the vehicle involved in the collision.Authorities will continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the factors that led to this unfortunate incident.
