A motor vehicle stop led to the discovery of drugs and a DWI arrest, according to a press release from Roselle Park police.
According to police, on March 11, Officer Angelo Marino arrested driver, Erika M. Brown, 43, of Union, and a passenger, Richard Smith, 41, of East Orange, following a motor vehicle stop in the area of W. Colfax Avenue after the vehicle was reportedly involved in a motor vehicle crash which damaged a parked vehicle in the area.
Brown was charged with driving while under the influence but released on a summons.
Smith was charged with possession of c.d.s. (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released on a summons.
Motor vehicle summonses were also issued for both.
