Trenton Police officials are investigating a crash that injured a woman and a child who walked on a street in the city Friday evening.
According to police, an out-of-control vehicle struck a mother and her 9-year-old daughter at Brunswick and North Olden avenues around 7 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the victims were rushed to Capital Health Trauma Center, where the mother suffered serious injuries and the 9-year-old's injuries were minor.
The driver was reportedly held at the scene by good samaritans until police arrived.
Police say the incident is under investigation.
