An emotionally distressed person who reportedly attempted to cause severe bodily harm to themself had Morristown police and emergency responders in a neighborhood in Morristown overnight.
Police were called to an address in the single digit block of Burnham Parkway shortly before 6 a.m. after they received reports of an injured person.
Upon their arrival, police found the victim bleeding from the wrists at that location.
Police were able to make the scene safe then assist the victim who lost a significant amount of blood.
The unidentified person was transported to an area hospital where they are expected to survive according to reports.
