Two lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $1,137,832 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday, Nov. 12th drawing. Each ticket is worth $568,916.
The winning numbers were: 06, 18, 21, 28 and 36 and the XTRA number was: 02.
Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
Morris County: Jay Cee’s, 40-42 First Ave., Denville; and
Passaic County: Bobbink Liquor, 383 Valley Rd., Clifton.
Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Jay Cee’s and Bobbink Liquor. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become two more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
Carey announced that there were 888,340 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 153 ticketholders won $495 each and 24 others won $990 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 5,607 ticketholders won $15 each and 859 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 9,975 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
