According to Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon, on Friday, the Morris County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services Unit (ESU) participated in specialized training with members of the Port Authority Police Department ESU and the New York Police Department ESU.
The purpose of this training was to enhance officer skill sets in working at high angles and the utilization of personal protective equipment.
This specialized equipment is designed for use in specific rescue and recovery incidents.
Sgt. Jamie Rae, Officer Jonathan Feinberg, Officer Ivan Bajceski, and Officer Joseph Grieco attended the training session, all of whom remarked on the excellent opportunity to work and train with the PAPD and NYPD.
