Detective Patrick LaGuerre and Detective Martyna Ruminska of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office joined several Morris County community groups on Sunday for the First Annual Diversity Day. Diversity Day was held on the Morristown Green and various religious groups and community leaders attended.
Off day the afternoon included an Interfaith Service on the Green, live music, local performers, food, and door prizes.
The Interfaith Service was held from 11 am and all of the following festivities began at 12 p.m.
Members of the Morristown community showed up in full force for Diversity Day, as the Green was packed with attendees all morning.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office had a table set up with helpful literature for adults, such as brochures on identity theft and internet safety for children, as well as gifts for the children in attendance.
The First Annual Diversity Day was an enormous success, and the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office is excited to continue working within the Morris County community in events such as Diversity Day.
