The mother of a 3-year old that was killed by a vehicle in Plainfield yesterday has been discharged from the hospital according to authorities.
The following is a statement released by Plainfield authorities:
“The adult female pedestrian involved in yesterday’s motor vehicle crash has been released from the hospital. At this time, due to the age of the child killed and the grieving involving all, we will not release the names of anyone involved in this crash.
We are respectfully asking the public and members of the press for privacy in this matter.
Upon completion of our investigation, as protocol, a review will be conducted by the Union County Prosecutors Office to determine if any charges will be filed".
The investigation is still active.
