Police in Montclair are investigating the death of an 83-year-old woman reported missing earlier this week.
Adelaida Serrano was reported missing Monday after she was last seen on surveillance footage leaving her Walnut Street residence at the First Montclair House.
Serrano's body was discovered at approximately 7:30 Thursday morning.
Although officials have not provide any additional details surrounding Serrano's death, authorities have not ruled her death to be suspicious.
According to family member, Serrano who recently moved to Montclair from New York this summer, was not familiar with the area.
