A missing Roselle Park man reported missing Tuesday night was found safe Wednesday morning near Kenilworth.
Sergeant Dominick Frino said sometime around 10 p.m. Tuesday, the family of an 85-year-old Roselle Park resident reported him missing after a family dispute.
The investigation was conducted with negative findings, said Frino.
Early that next morning, while on patrol, Ptl. Mitchell White received an alert for a missing person on his mobile data terminal/ license plate reader, after passing a 2006 Ford on West Lincoln Avenue.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted on Market Street near Kenilworth, where the missing 85-year-old man was positively identified and subsequently reunited with his family.
He was said to be in good health.
