Residents of Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to another day of above-normal temperatures, but forecasters warn that a round of rain is on the way.

While the mild weather has been a welcome break from winter’s chill, parts of New Jersey—particularly North Jersey—are already seeing some early precipitation.

Temperatures are expected to climb into the 50s today, but keeping an umbrella handy is advised, as showers are likely to move through the area.
