Mild, Sunny Weather in Newark as North Jersey Marks 23rd Anniversary of 9/11

As the nation commemorates the 23rd anniversary of the September 11, 2001 tragedy, Newark and the North Jersey region begin the day with mild temperatures at 63 degrees.SupportThe weather is expected to be a near replica of yesterday, with sunny skies and beautiful conditions throughout the day.

Good Wednesday morning to all, as the area enjoys dry, refreshing air.

Some isolated dense fog has been reported in Sussex and Passaic counties, but it is expected to clear as the morning progresses.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, with a high near 80 degrees.

Winds will be light and variable, becoming northerly at 5 to 8 mph. Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear, with a low of around 61 degrees.
