By: Najla Alexander Middlesex County officials announced that in honor of National Adoption Day, observed this year on Saturday, November 23, Middlesex County celebrated its 17th Annual Adoption Day event on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the Middlesex County Superior Court.
During this heartwarming event, Middlesex Family Court Judge Deborah J. Venezia finalized five adoptions—three children and two adults, County officials said.
According to Middlesex County authorities, this brought the total number of adoptions completed in Middlesex County to 75 since December 2023.
This annual Adoption Day event is an initiative led by the Middlesex County Office of the Surrogate to raise awareness about the importance of adoption while honoring the families who have chosen to provide loving and permanent homes to those in need, County officials stated.
