Middle Township police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a male suspect wanted for an armed robbery at the Family Dollar Thursday morning.
According to police, on Jan. 4th around 10:20 a.m. the Middle Township Officers responded to Family Dollar, located in the Village Shoppes at 1304 State Highway 47 in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, police spoke with the store employee who reported an individual, armed with a handgun entered the store and demanded money out of the store’s cash register. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot towards Rio Grande Plaza.
