The Mercer County Narcotics Task Force concluded a month-long investigation last week with one arrest, and the seizure of cash and cocaine, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri reported.
According to authorities, on Feb. 1st, officers with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Hamilton, Princeton and Trenton police, under the command of the prosecutor’s Special Investigations Unit, executed search warrants at Eric Ramos’ Highland Avenue residence in Trenton.
A search of the home revealed approximately 60 grams of crack cocaine, 40 grams of powder cocaine and $3,081 in cash. The seized cocaine has an approximate street value of $10,000.
Police arrested and charged 46-year-old Ramos, with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with the intent to distribute.
Authorities said Ramos was released pending future court proceedings.
Despite having been charged, every defendant is presumed innocent until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
